Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking a Food Process Technology Manager in Boxmeer to drive innovation and lead a multi-disciplinary team. You will plan and direct development from concept to product launch, ensure technical integrity, and identify growth opportunities in the further processing portfolio.

You will collaborate with Research, Innovation, Product, Sales, Service and Supply Chain, translating technology into new machine concepts and data-driven insights. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Food Science or related field.
• 5+ years in development for a similar industry.
• Knowledge of business processes in the food industry.
• Experience managing and supervising a team.
• Experience translating technology to machine concepts.
• Strong English skills; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement strategy and roadmap for the portfolio of further processing.
• Identify opportunities from customers and markets for value propositions.
• Lead development and safeguard core technology for this portfolio.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary development team daily.
• Collaborate with Innovation, Sales, Service and Supply Chain.
• Support IP rights and patent-related activities.
• Ensure budget adherence for the team within the Innovation budget.
• Promote the vision of Innovation and build customer relationships.
