Job summary

Collab Group is seeking a Field Service Technician EMEA to travel across Europe, the Middle East and Africa to install, maintain and repair spiral conveyor systems for leading global customers.

You will undergo onboarding through AmbaCademy and gain broad international exposure, with a strong emphasis on training, safety and quality. The role combines travel with hands-on technical work.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in field service or maintenance.
• Mechanical/technical troubleshooting skills.
• Fluent English; other languages a plus.
• Positive, customer-focused attitude and cross-cultural comfort.
• Strong communication skills.

Job description

Are you a hands-on technician who loves to travel and enjoys technical challenges? As Field Service Technician EMEA, you travel across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (90% international, 10% domestic) to install, maintain and repair advanced spiral conveyor systems at leading companies worldwide.

What you'll do:

• Install and commission conveyor systems

• Carry out preventive maintenance and inspections

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and technical malfunctions

• Provide on-site repairs and technical support

• Train customer operators and integrators on operation and maintenance

• Support integrators during installation projects

• Provide structured feedback to Customer Service

• Represent us as a reliable, professional partner
  

Every visit is prepared for you: instructions, travel and planning are arranged, so you can focus on the technical work. After a solid training period, you'll first visit customers with a colleague, then work independently.

What you bring:

• MBO+ working and thinking level, technical background (Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar)

• 3-5 years' experience in field service or maintenance

• Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills

• Fluent English (Spanish, Dutch or French is a plus)

• Positive, customer-focused attitude, comfortable across cultures

• Accurate, quality-driven and able to perform under pressure

• Strong communication skills

• Commercial mindset combined with technical quality
