Job summary

Dott in Eindhoven, the leader in shared micromobility, seeks a hands-on workshop technician to repair and maintain our e-scooters and e-bikes. You will bring damaged or lost scooters back to the warehouse, perform safety checks, and ensure fleet readiness for daily use.

You will work in a collaborative team, but also value independent workflow, with occasional weekend shifts. Dutch or English language skills, a valid class B license, and a work permit are required.

Qualifications

• First professional experience as a two-wheeler or car mechanic, or a career changer with technical/mechanical skills.
• Able to work well in a team and share knowledge with others.
• Careful, independent working style; valid driving license and work permit.

Responsibilities

• Bring damaged and lost scooters back to our warehouse.
• Repair and maintain our e-scooters/e-bikes; keep fleet roadworthy and safe.
• Carry out regular safety tests on our scooters.
• Change batteries of our e-vehicles and keep them ready for use.
• Ensure vehicles are in the right place at the right time.
• Help organise and keep the workshop orderly.

THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT

• You bring damaged and lost scooters back to our warehouse
• You will repair and maintain our e-scooters/e-bikes and ensure that our fleet is always roadworthy and in good technical condition
• You carry out regular safety tests on our scooters
• You change the batteries of our e-vehicles and make sure that they are always ready for use
• You make sure that our vehicles are always in the right place at the right time
• You are jointly responsible for the organisation and order in your workshop

YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• You have already gained your first professional experience as a two-wheeler or car mechanic or are a career changer with technical, mechanical or manual skills
• You are an absolute team player, keen to learn and share your knowledge with others
• You are characterised by a careful and independent way of working
• You have a valid class B driving license and a valid work permit
• You are flexible and willing to work weekends
• You speak Dutch or English
