Save the Children is seeking a MEAL Officer (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning) for maternity leave cover in the Netherlands and Europe. The role focuses on data-driven monitoring, evaluation, and learning across TeamUp, PowerUp, and related programmes, with responsibilities spanning app rollout, data analysis, and donor reporting.

You will work closely with the MEAL Technical Specialists and Programme Team to ensure quality and learning, while handling registration tools and

Qualifications

• Completed HBO or university degree in development studies, social sciences, or related field.
• Experience with monitoring and evaluation.
• Knowledge/experience in developing and adapting measurement tools; statistics and qualitative analysis is a plus.
• Knowledge/experience with software development and working with digital tools.
• Excellent command of English; sufficient Dutch to read, write, and communicate.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and evaluate TeamUp and MEAL activities; track progress and learning.
• Support the TeamUp app rollout, testing, and improvements with developers and users.
• Maintain TeamUp documentation in SharePoint and assist with cost monitoring for MEAL activities.
• Coordinate MEAL work for PowerUp and other programmes; prepare MEAL plans and learning sessions.
