Job summary

DHL Weert zoekt een Material Handling Equipment Trainer om nieuwe en bestaande medewerkers te trainen in veilige en efficiënte werking van magazijnapparatuur. Je werkt nauw samen met Team Leaders en Operaties om veiligheid en kwaliteit te waarborgen en continue verbetering aan te jagen.

De functie vereist ervaring in logistiek of operatie en in het omgaan met material handling equipment, met geldige certificaten voor reach trucks/heftrucks. Een dagdienst van maandag tot en met vrijdag.”

Qualifications

• MBO-niveau of gelijkwaardige ervaring vereist.
• Goede beheersing van Engels.
• Ervaring in logistiek of operaties met praktische kennis van material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Geef praktische training over reach trucks, heftruck, elektrische pallettruck en order-picking trucks.
• Coachen en ondersteunen van nieuwe en bestaande medewerkers in veilige en efficiënte werking.
• Uitvoeren van vaardigheidsbeoordelingen, certificeringen beheren en refresher training organiseren.
• Toezicht houden op trainingsregistraties, veiligheidsrisico's identificeren en verbeteringen aanbevelen.
• Samenwerken met Team Leaders en Operations om een sterke veiligheidscultuur en continue procesverbetering te bevorderen.

Over de functie

As an Material Handling Equipment Trainer, you are responsible for training, coaching, and guiding new and existing employees in the safe and efficient operation of warehouse equipment. Working closely with Team Leaders and Operations, you will help maintain high safety and quality standards, develop employee skills, and drive continuous improvement across the logistics operation.

Your responsibilities include:

• Deliver practical training on reach trucks, forklifts, electric pallet trucks, and order-picking trucks
• Coach and support new and existing employees in safe and efficient equipment operation
• Conduct skills assessments, manage certifications, and organize refresher training
• Monitor training records, identify safety risks, and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with Team Leaders and Operations to promote a strong safety culture and continuously improve operational processes

Working hours:

You will work in a day shift from Monday till Friday

• 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Wat wij vragen

• MBO-level education or equivalent knowledge and experience
• Good proficiency in english language
• Experience in logistics or operations, with practical knowledge of material handling equipment
• You posses valid reach truck and/or forklift certificates
• Strong communication and coaching skills, with a proactive and safety-conscious attitude
