Job summary

DHL Weert zet zich in voor veiligheid en ontwikkeling door een MHE Trainer aan te stellen die nieuw en bestaand personeel traint in veilig en efficiënt werken met magazijnapparatuur. Je werkt nauw samen met Team Leaders en Operations om een sterke veiligheidscultuur en continue verbetering te stimuleren.

De rol vereist ervaring in logistiek, MBO-niveau onderwijs en certificeringen voor reach truck/forklift. Een lange termijn, fulltime positie met training en doorgroeimogelijkheden wordt geboden.

Qualifications

• Veiligheidsopleidingen en coachingvaardigheden vereist.
• Vloeiende communicatie en proactieve houding.
• Ervaring in logistiek of operaties is gewenst.

Responsibilities

• Trainen en coachen van medewerkers in veilig en efficiënt gebruik van magazijnapparatuur.
• Beheren van certificeringen en refreshertrainingen.
• Toezicht houden op trainingsregistratie en veiligheidsrisico's identificeren.

Are you passionate about safety, employee development, and operational excellence? Join our team as an MHE Trainer, where you will play a key role in training and coaching colleagues to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently while contributing to continuous improvement. Good work!

Over de functie

As an Material Handling Equipment Trainer, you are responsible for training, coaching, and guiding new and existing employees in the safe and efficient operation of warehouse equipment. Working closely with Team Leaders and Operations, you will help maintain high safety and quality standards, develop employee skills, and drive continuous improvement across the logistics operation.

Your responsibilities include:

• Deliver practical training on reach trucks, forklifts, electric pallet trucks, and order-picking trucks
• Coach and support new and existing employees in safe and efficient equipment operation
• Conduct skills assessments, manage certifications, and organize refresher training
• Monitor training records, identify safety risks, and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with Team Leaders and Operations to promote a strong safety culture and continuously improve operational processes

Working hours:

You will work in a day shift from Monday till Friday

• 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Wat wij vragen

• MBO-level education or equivalent knowledge and experience
• Good proficiency in english language
• Experience in logistics or operations, with practical knowledge of material handling equipment
• You posses valid reach truck and/or forklift certificates
• Strong communication and coaching skills, with a proactive and safety-conscious attitude
