Job summary

Nearfield Instruments is seeking a Master Data Specialist to drive data governance across the organization. You will define data standards, enforce governance policies and lead master data projects to ensure data quality and consistency across departments.

You will collaborate with business units and IT, train teams, and implement MDM tools to support data integration and migration efforts. Join a fast-growing scale-up focused on metrology solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data management or related field.
• Master's degree or relevant certifications in data management technologies is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of MDM principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement MDM strategies, including processes, standards and selecting suitable technologies.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy and consistency across systems; troubleshoot data issues.
• Liaise with stakeholders across units to align data management with business needs.
• Train and support teams on data management practices and procedures.
• Build and contribute to data governance policies and procedures.
• Lead data transformation projects and new tool implementations.
