Job summary

Genmab in Utrecht, Netherlands seeks a Master’s student for a mass spectrometry internship focused on improving MS data quality for antibody research. The project combines data review with follow-up experiments to understand when issues first appeared and how they evolve across formats.

You will work with the supervisor to design experiments, analyze results, and contribute to method development. Your role includes planning experiments, documenting methods, and presenting progress to the team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled Master’s student in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline.
• Mandatory internship as part of degree program; minimum six months.
• Practical mass spectrometry experience required; protein-focused preferred.
• Ability to plan experiments, review data, and build hypotheses.

Responsibilities

• Review existing MS data and experimental records to identify when analytical issues emerged.
• Compare results over time to spot patterns and contributing factors.
• Plan and perform protein characterization experiments under supervision.
• Process MS data using analysis tools, including deconvolution software.
