Job summary

Genmab is seeking an Intern for the Antibody Discovery and Lead Optimization team in Utrecht, Netherlands. You will gain hands-on experience across disciplines, focusing on establishing in vitro display technologies for antibody screening from large libraries.

This internship provides practical experience in molecular biology, protein engineering, and antibody discovery, boosting your scientific mindset. The final project scope will be defined with you.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Master's program in molecular biology or related field.
• Intern must be a formal, mandatory component of degree for graduation.
• Strong interest in immune-oncology and antibody biology.
• Basic molecular biology techniques including PCR, DNA cloning, mRNA production, and in vitro translation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent in English (Genmab's primary language).

Responsibilities

• Assist in experimental design and execution, including optimization of display-related experiments.
• Learn molecular biology techniques such as PCR, mRNA production, cDNA synthesis, and in vitro translation.
• Collaborate with team to troubleshoot challenges and refine methods.
• Analyze experimental data and maintain detailed lab records.
• Present insights and troubleshoot at team meetings.
