Job summary

GSM - Green SM Netherlands is seeking a Marketplace Specialist to drive growth across key modules of the Marketplace function. You will analyze market trends, run promotion tests, study retention and driver behavior, and collaborate with Operations, Driver Sourcing, Product/Tech and Marketing to align initiatives with business goals.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in marketplace management, and proficiency with data tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics or related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in marketplace management or a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with data analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx or similar).
• Advanced MS Excel usage; SQL knowledge; basic R and Python.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research to identify growth opportunities.
• Analyze promotion spends using A/B tests for optimization and engagement.
• Study retention and repeating customer behavior to boost engagement.
• Analyze driver behaviour patterns and cohort strategies to reduce churn within budget.
• Monitor competitor promotions and market dynamics to inform GSM decisions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Driver Sourcing, Product/Tech and Marketing to align marketplace initiatives.
• Prepare regular marketplace performance reports and present findings to stakeholders.
