Job summary

Fox ESS is seeking a hands-on Digital Marketing Specialist to own our Dutch website and drive SEO/SEM/GEO across the Netherlands. You will manage influencer content, case studies, email campaigns, and community engagement to strengthen brand presence.

Based in the Netherlands with hybrid work, you will coordinate with PR and media partners, update site content, and optimize performance while collaborating with a growing marketing team in the renewable energy sector.

Fox ESS was established in 2019, and through its world-leading team of engineers and technicians is leading the way in the fields of power technology research and development, energy storage equipment manufacturing, IT data services, and new energy project development.

The company focuses on providing advanced distributed energy, energy storage products and smart energy management solutions for households and industrial/commercial enterprises.

We are expanding our marketing team and looking for a hands-on Media Specialist to support our growing business across the Netherlands. This role is for someone who can own our Dutch website, drive SEO/SEM/GEO, manage influencer and case study content, run email marketing, engage communities, and handle PR and client media.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing & SEO

• Plan and execute SEO SEM, and GEO (AI Engine Optimization) plan with agents
• Optimize content for AI-driven search and generative engines in a holistic online environment perspective

Content & Influencer Marketing

• Develop and manage influencer content partnerships
• Produce case studies in collaboration with agents and partners
• Establish and distribute email marketing campaigns

Community & Social

• Manage Facebook and Reddit blog communities
• Engage with online communities to build brand presence and trust

Website Maintenance

• Take ownership of website maintenance, updates, and performance
• Ensure site content is accurate, optimized, and up to date
• Coordinate with developers and internal teams on technical improvements

PR & Media

• Handle PR media outreach and client media relations
• Build and maintain relationships with industry media and partners

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of digital marketing experience (in PV, battery, or energy or related industry)
• Native Dutch speaker; strong English communication skills; Chinese as an advantage
• Proven hands-on experience with SEO, SEM, and GEO
• Demonstrated website maintenance experience (must-have)
• Experience with influencer content, case studies, and email marketing
• Familiarity with Facebook and Reddit community management
• PR and client media experience
• Able to work 3 days per week in the office
• Available to start ASAP, no later than early October
• Professional English and Dutch are mandatory
