  • Lead the hotel’s marketing activities across digital, social media, content, campaigns, partnerships, PR, and hotel activations, ensuring a consistent and distinctive brand presence.
  • Take ownership of the hotel’s marketing calendar, identifying opportunities to connect relevant campaigns, seasonal moments, partnerships, and commercial priorities.
  • Develop creative campaigns and content that showcase the hotel, its people, culinary experiences, events, and unique sense of place.
  • Manage the hotel’s digital ecosystem, including website content, email marketing, social media platforms, and relevant CRM and marketing tools.
  • Strengthen the Amstel’s position within Amsterdam’s luxury hospitality and lifestyle landscape through meaningful partnerships, collaborations, media opportunities, and local activations.
  • Work closely with the Commercial and Operations teams to promote the hotel’s rooms, restaurants, bars, events, and other offerings, driving awareness, engagement, and revenue.
  • Manage external agencies, creative partners, photographers, videographers, and other suppliers, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard and in line with agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Monitor campaign and channel performance, analyse results, and use insights to optimise activity and demonstrate return on investment.
  • Manage the marketing budget and resources effectively, ensuring activity is commercially relevant and financially responsible.
  • Ensure all marketing communications meet brand standards while maintaining the Amstel’s distinctive character and identity.
  • Stay connected to developments and trends in luxury hospitality, travel, lifestyle, culture, and Amsterdam, bringing relevant ideas and inspiration to the hotel.
  • Support and guide junior colleagues, interns, and external creative partners where relevant, helping to create a collaborative and well‑organised marketing environment.
What we need from you

  • Excellent written and verbal English and Dutch communication skills.
  • A strong eye for detail, visual presentation, storytelling, and brand consistency.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
  • A creative and commercially minded approach, with the ability to turn ideas into campaigns and activities that deliver measurable results.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external partners.
  • Experience working with external agencies, creative partners, media, photographers, or production suppliers is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the Amsterdam market and its hospitality, lifestyle, and cultural landscape is preferred.
