Job summary

EPEX SPOT SE operates physical short-term electricity markets across Europe. The Market Operations Auction team monitors over 20 daily auctions and supports 400+ members, ensuring reliable data and timely trade execution.

The role involves coordinating with IT, Membership, and Sales, contributing to system releases, and working in agile Scrum teams, with hybrid work options and up to 40 days remote per year.

Qualifications

• Experience monitoring auction markets and ensuring daily trade execution.
• Experience supporting market participants and coordinating client setups in trading systems.
• Familiarity with European market coupling processes and interaction with partners such as TSOs and other exchanges.
• Ability to ensure data accuracy and compliant reporting to regulations.
• Experience managing production incidents and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to coordinate shared processes with IT, Membership, Sales/Communication, and providers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Auction markets to ensure daily trade execution and publish price references.
• Provide support to EPEX SPOT members and coordinate client setups.
• Coordinate with operational partners and system providers for production coordination.
• Participate in agile Scrum teams for system releases and new services.
• Contribute to documentation, procedures, and process improvements.
