Job summary

Seas of Solutions in Zoetermeer, Netherlands, is seeking an ATE Software Engineer to join the R&D team, developing production ATE software for maritime safety equipment and driving test automation initiatives. You will collaborate closely with hardware and firmware engineers to transition products from development to reliable production testing.

The role requires 2–5 years in ATE or production test software, strong Python skills, test automation experience, and on-site work in Zoetermeer.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in ATE or production test software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python for test software development.
• Experience building and maintaining test automation.
• Familiarity with Ethernet, RS-485, RS-232 communications.
• Experience with databases (SQL) for test data storage and reporting.
• Ability to work on-site in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production ATE software for maritime safety products.
• Build and improve test automation frameworks to increase throughput and repeatability.
• Interface test software with hardware and instrumentation over Ethernet, RS-485, RS-232.
• Develop hardware interfacing routines for DUT communication and fixtures.
• Collaborate with hardware/firmware teams to define test requirements.
• Support NPI and bring-up of new ATE stations in production.
• Debug and resolve issues on production test systems.
• Maintain test result logging, traceability, and regulatory reporting.
• Document ATE software and station setup for production and support.
