Job summary

SKF Group in Barendrecht, Netherlands, is seeking an On-site Machining Technician to travel internationally and perform precision field machining on propulsion systems and driveline components across marine and offshore vessels.

You will serve as SKF's technical on-site representative, carrying out line boring, flange facing, alignment, and component assembly, while maintaining safety, quality, and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• A vocational or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of field machining operations, including line boring, flange facing, in-situ shaft machining and other precision machining activities.

Reading engineering drawings

Travel readiness

Valid driving licence

Maritime/offshore experience
