Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to strengthen manufacturing quality and support new product introductions. You will embed quality in products and processes from the start, working with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Operations to identify risks and drive robust, reliable manufacturing outcomes.

You will lead risk management activities, facilitate root cause investigations, and implement preventive actions on industrialization projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with or interest in FMEA facilitation and risk management methodologies.
• Experience in Root Cause Analysis and structured problem-solving methods (8D, PDCA, A3, Lean Six Sigma).
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and translate findings into improvements.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive quality assurance and continuous improvement across the factory during industrialization and new product introduction.
• Conduct risk assessments and lead Product and Process FMEAs.
• Facilitate investigations using structured methods (8D, A3, PDCA, Ishikawa).
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and sustained.
• Support prototype builds, pilots, and industrialization projects with quality requirements.
