Job summary

Cytiva is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in the Technical department, Medemblik, on-site. You will develop and optimizes manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance while leading lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or industrial engineering role within a production environment.
• Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in manufacturing systems and engineering tools, including ERP/CMMS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with process validation, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities, eliminating waste, and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Provide technical support to production operations by troubleshooting process issues and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive process improvements, achieve business objectives, and support operational excellence.
• Support new product introductions and manufacturing changes by establishing robust processes, validating production readiness, and ensuring successful implementation.
