Job summary

Cytiva is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes at our Medemblik site. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams, and ensure safe, efficient production of biotech products.

The role focuses on process validation, waste reduction, and implementing robust processes for new product introductions within a regulated environment. On-site work in Medemblik, NL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or industrial engineering role within a production environment.
• Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities, eliminating waste, and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Provide technical support to production operations by troubleshooting process issues and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, achieve business objectives, and support operational excellence.
• Support new product introductions and manufacturing changes by establishing robust processes, validating production readiness, and ensuring successful implementation.
