Job summary

OnLogic is seeking a hands-on Production/Process/Manufacturing Engineer to scale our industrial computers. You will work with the Engineering team to improve efficiency, quality, and reliability, developing tools and processes for continuous improvement.

You’ll validate product readiness, reduce downtime, and support production with documentation, test automation, and cross-functional collaboration. A degree in Computer or Industrial Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a production/process/manufacturing engineer.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and test design.
• Experience with computer and software troubleshooting in Linux and Windows OS environments.
• Software development experience with full stack web development, JavaScript, SQL, Linux Terminal, and ability to learn additional languages.
• Drive efficiency in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues.
• Project management skills to prioritize and execute multiple projects.
• Collaborate with all levels and functions, both internal and externally.
• Willingness to occasionally work off production hours.

Responsibilities

• Prevent downtime and respond to escalations to enable quick production restarts with root cause analysis and solution implementation.
• Validate new product readiness for production.
• Improve production and test processes for manufacturability.
• Create process documentation, training, and operating instructions.
• Implement test automation tasks and develop new processes and tools.
• Provide support to keep operations running, including assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing customer returns.
• Manage customer escalations related to production quality issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver continuous improvements in product quality and production efficiency.
