Job summary

You make the difference

ROCSYS relies on your contribution to the product introduction and manufacturing process on technical, process and / or design level. You help delivering new products to the market and maintain their Manufacturing process along with the complete product lifecycle. You contribute to a quality and LEAN focused culture.

The ultimate goal is to conceptualize, design and industrialize (together with other departments within Rocsys) products or Manufacturing lines that fulfill the strategic goals of the company. While having a constant focus on the best output quality possible, you assure our products are always up to defined specifications.

In this role you will
  • Take an active role in project and product teams, with responsibility for manufacturing quality within your discipline.
  • Deliver high‑quality manufacturing solutions and documentation.
  • Research and apply relevant manufacturing trends and best practices.
  • Contribute to development planning and long‑term manufacturing roadmaps.
  • Promote a quality mindset through the use of quality tools and audits.
  • Ensure safety for people and products within the workshop environment.
  • Take ownership of your personal and professional development.
Your contribution
  • Lead Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews within R&D and drive improvement actions.
  • Define, design, implement and maintain manufacturing tooling, ranging from complex mechatronic systems to simpler assembly tools.
  • Collaborate closely with the Quality Engineer.
  • Share responsibility with the Process Engineer for the design, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing lines and workflows.
  • Perform audits on tooling quality and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
What you will bring into Rocsys
Your knowledge and experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or discrete production environments.
  • Experience within a relevant technical or engineering field.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials and quality assurance methods.
  • Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering and LEAN principles.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical and/or mechatronic engineering.
  • Ability to understand the complete value chain, from suppliers to customer delivery.
  • Experience working within an international technical organization.
