Job summary

Michael Page seeks an Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will lead month-end closes, support budgeting, and collaborate with production, procurement, and operations to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing finance, strong ERP experience (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle), and fluent Dutch and English, with a proactive, hands-on mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience supervising finance staff.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch accounting standards and IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting activities including general ledger, AP, AR, and fixed assets.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare financial statements in line with Dutch GAAP and IFRS.
• Monitor inventory and manufacturing cost accounting.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors.
• Identify process improvements and drive automation.
• Develop and mentor accounting staff.
• Collaborate with operations teams to support business objectives.
