Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting a Head of Finance Operations for a global Aircraft Engine/Maintenance company with operations in Amsterdam. You will lead AP/AR, treasury, regulatory reporting, and overhead accounting, driving automation and system optimization within SAP and related technologies.

You will manage a four-person team across Amsterdam and Poland, collaborate with Tax, IT/SAP, and external auditors, and report to the CFO. Strong English is essential; Dutch/German languages are a plus.

Qualifications

Strong background in finance operations, accounting, or shared services leadership.
Proven experience managing AP, AR, and payment processes in an SAP environment.
Experience with OCR invoice processing tools (e.g., xSuite) preferred.
Solid understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, and audit processes.
Experience leading international teams.
Strong written and verbal communication in English.
Additional language skills - Dutch and German is desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end AP, including invoice processing, approvals and payments with SAP/xSuite.
Oversee AR reconciliation, reporting, and collections activities.
Manage Treasury Operations: bank reconciliations, cash management, and loan administration.
Ensure CBS regulatory reporting accuracy and timeliness under Dutch regulations.
Oversee Overhead Accounting including payroll and travel expenses.
Act as Audit Leader and primary contact for external auditors across AP, AR, treasury and related processes.
Lead and develop a multi-location finance team, allocating resources effectively.
Drive standardization, optimization, and automation of finance operations processes.
