Job summary

Next Ventures is seeking an experienced Managing Consultant - Enterprise Content Management (ECM) to help organizations improve how they manage, govern, secure, and utilize information. • Proven experience in ECM consulting or advisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of ECM platforms: SharePoint, OpenText, Documentum, Alfresco, or Nuxeo.
• Experience with information governance, records management, workflow automation.
• Understanding of data governance, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading complex business/tech transformation projects.
• Knowledge of AI-driven content management and automation is desirable.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Managing Consultant - Enterprise Content Management (ECM) to help organizations improve how they manage, govern, secure, and utilize information. You will work with business and IT stakeholders to define content strategies, design ECM solutions, and lead digital transformation initiatives from concept through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on content management strategy, information governance, and digital transformation.
• Conduct business analysis, workshops, and maturity assessments to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop business cases, roadmaps, and ECM strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Design and oversee ECM solutions including document management, records management, enterprise search, workflow automation, and content governance.
• Lead implementations, migrations, and integrations across ECM platforms.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements, including GDPR.
• Manage stakeholders, lead project teams, and support change management and user adoption initiatives.
• Contribute to proposals, tenders, and pre-sales activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) consulting or advisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of platforms such as SharePoint, OpenText, Documentum, Alfresco, or Nuxeo.
• Experience with information governance, records management, document management, and workflow automation.
• Understanding of data governance, cybersecurity, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading complex business and technology transformation projects.
• Knowledge of AI-driven content management and automation solutions is highly desirable.

Preferred Background

Experience working with enterprise business systems and functions such as ERP, CRM, HR, Finance, Logistics, Digital Commerce, or Asset Management.
