  • Leading a team of approximately 20 employees within logistics and warehousing.
Procurement & Supplier Management
  • Leading and developing procurement teams in the Netherlands and China;
  • Managing supplier relationships, negotiations, and contracts;
  • Monitoring pricing, lead times, and supplier performance.

  • Coordinating global material flows, with a strong focus on Europe–China operations;
  • Aligning production planning, quality expectations, and delivery schedules;
  • Daily coordination with the local procurement team in China;
  • Bridging cultural and operational differences between European and Chinese teams;
  • Supporting supplier development and performance improvement initiatives.
Logistics, Warehousing & Customs
  • Organizing storage, inventory management, and warehouse operations;
  • Optimizing transport flows, logistics costs, and delivery performance;
  • Ensuring compliance with customs regulations, HS codes, and import/export requirements.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
  • Designing and improving integrated processes for inventory, warehouse, and transport management;
  • Implementing KPI‑driven performance monitoring and reporting;
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives (cost reduction, lead‑time reduction, inventory optimization);
  • Preparing short‑and long‑term forecasts for procurement and inventory.
Problem Solving & Escalation Management
  • Quickly identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks;
  • Escalating issues with suppliers and coordinating cross‑functional solutions;
  • Acting as the final escalation level for supplier claims and restoring supply chain stability under pressure.
