Job summary

WPS Parking Solutions is expanding its South Holland service team with a proactive Maintenance Technician. You will perform preventive maintenance on our parking systems across the Netherlands, visiting client sites with your own service vehicle, and you will diagnose issues to prevent future malfunctions.

No prior parking system experience is required; we will train you. A hands-on attitude, a valid B driving license, and VCA/NEN 3140 certification (or willingness to obtain) are preferred.

What are you going to do?

As a maintenance technician at WPS, you get a job full of variety and adventure. Your days are just as diverse as the parking systems you work with! One day you are busy measuring voltages at one of our entrance terminals at a Q-Park garage, and the next day you are replacing mechanical parts of one of our barriers at a government agency.

Your mission as a Maintenance Technician? To perform preventive maintenance on the parking systems supplied by WPS in the Netherlands. Using your own service vehicle, you drive to our customers on location with the aim of preventing complex malfunctions in the future. You know better than anyone how to perform checks independently and advise the customer in a professional manner regarding potential solutions for ease of use. Whether it involves performing checks or sharing professional advice on user-friendly solutions, you are there for our customers and exude confidence!

What are you bringing?

You don't need to have experience with parking systems yet – we are happy to teach you that. However, we are looking for someone who is confident, has a hands- on mentality, and is naturally a go-getter.

Additionally, we would appreciate it if you have the following:

• A completed MBO education (e.g. Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics) or a comparable diploma with relevant work experience


• You are VCA and NEN 3140 certified or willing to obtain this


• You are in possession of a B driving license


• You reside in the Central or Southern Netherlands region;
