Betaprofs is assisting an Italian manufacturer of high-tech cardboard packaging machines to recruit a Maintenance Technician for the Bol.com logistics center in Waalwijk. You will grow within logistics automation through a comprehensive onboarding program.

No extensive experience is required; a technical education or work as a mechanic suffices. You will perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and help improve machine performance while building an on-site professional

Job description

Our client is an Italian manufacturer of high-tech cardboard packaging machines. These machines are used in the packaging, postal and printing industry and in logistics centers. Our client delivered 16 packaging machines to Bol.com in 2021. In addition to these machines, they also supply a service and maintenance team of 15 technicians for the maintenance and troubleshooting of these machines in a four-shift system.

For our client, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician (to strengthen our client's team in the BOL.com logistics center in Waalwijk), who wants to develop within the world of logistics automation.

You do not need years of experience with automated systems. Have you completed a technical education or do you have work experience as a mechanic? Then we are happy to invest in your development.

Step by step, you will get to know the machines, controls, and maintenance processes. With an extensive onboarding program, good guidance, and internal training, you will be given every opportunity to further develop yourself into an all-round Maintenance Technician.

As a Maintenance technician employed by our client, you help build the maintenance team.

You are constantly working on improving the performance of the machines.

and possible areas for improvement of all technical processes and installations.

Carrying out maintenance and repairs, both mechanical and electrical.

Troubleshooting, diagnosing and taking corrective measures for machine malfunctions and problems.

You represent our client on location and are therefore the calling card for our client. You therefore have an important role in building a professional relationship.

The 4-shift schedule is as follows:

3 days from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM

2 days off

3 days from 5:30 PM to 2:00 AM

2 days off

2 days from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

You are free on Christmas Day, New Year's Day and Easter Monday.

You must live in the Tilburg / Waalwijk region and have your own transportation. The workplace cannot be reached by public transportation in the evening.

Do you have technical insight and/or a technical education?

Are you eager to learn and do you want to develop yourself within maintenance? Then we would like to get to know you.

You have good communication skills, you are flexible, responsible, eager to learn, independent and you are a good relationship manager. You are able to deal with critical deadlines.

You will be employed directly by our client, with a contract, good employment conditions.

The annual salary, including holiday pay and shift allowance, is between €48,000 and €52,000 gross per year. Possibility of a bonus equivalent to one month's salary.

In addition to a good salary and internal training, you receive many days off and work an average of 36 hours per week. 25 days off, 13 ATV days, CAO Metal and Technology, with good employment conditions and development opportunities. You will be given a lot of freedom and you can contribute in terms of content to the way in which everything is organized efficiently.
