Swisslog in Ridderkerk is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join the on-site team for the new Quooker site. You will perform electro‑mechanical maintenance on automated material handling systems, work with conveyors and robotics, and coordinate with the customer to ensure peak performance.

The role requires strong communication, PLC familiarity is a plus, and a willingness to work daylight hours (Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00). A path to permanent Quooker employment is possible after 2–3 years.

Qualifikationen

• Technical education in mechanical/electrical maintenance or mechatronics.
• Customer service drives you and you have strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance methods and schedules.
• Ability and willingness to work at heights up to 30 metres.
• Reside within 45 minutes driving distance from Ridderkerk.
• Advantageous if you have experience reading PLC error codes in automated environments.
• Fluent in Dutch and confident communicating in English.

Aufgaben

• Provide electro‑mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance on automated material handling systems, including conveyors.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electronic faults, escalating to remote specialists when needed.
• Ensure safe, efficient operations by following planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules.
• Maintain advanced material handling equipment such as pallet stacker cranes, conveyors and robotics systems.
• Ensure customer system operation is maximized while adhering to instructions and technical standards.
• Work safely by following relevant safety procedures and guidelines and report risks.
• Act as on‑site Swisslog representative, building and maintaining strong customer relationships with Quooker.
