Job summary

Amgen Breda is seeking a Lead Technician Utilities to ensure reliable operation of critical utility systems supporting manufacturing, warehousing and offices. You will mentor technicians and coordinate maintenance across HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, and building automation in a modern pharmaceutical site.

Qualifications

• MBO+/HBO-level education or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience in utilities, facilities, maintenance, or industrial installations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a hands-on mindset.
• Experience coordinating maintenance activities, projects, contractors, or technical teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coach and support colleagues.
• Good communication skills in English and willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Experience in a GMP environment and knowledge of SAP PM or another CMMS platform is a plus.

What you will do

As a Lead Technician Utilities, you play a key role in ensuring the reliable operation of the critical utility systems that support our manufacturing, warehousing, and offices. You combine technical expertise with leadership and coaching skills. Working closely with technicians, engineers, contractors, and operations teams, you help ensure maintenance activities are executed safely, efficiently, and compliantly while supporting the development of others.

You’ll work on systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, chilled water, boilers, and building automation systems within a modern, highly automated pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. As our site continues to expand, these systems are becoming increasingly important to support future growth.

In this role, you will:
