Job summary

We ARE Renewables in the Netherlands is seeking a Maintenance Planner / Work Preparation Engineer to organize maintenance activities in an industrial production environment, focusing on safe, compliant and efficient execution. You will prepare work orders, manage CMMS systems, coordinate with production and external contractors, and drive continuous improvement through TPM and Lean Maintenance.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, an MBO+ or HBO level qualification, and strong

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a technical environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with maintenance planning and CMMS.
• Knowledge of ATEX, NEN 3140, PGS and Dutch safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work orders for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Provide technical documentation, drawings and work instructions.
• Ensure timely availability of materials, tools and spare parts.
• Assess technical feasibility of maintenance work.
• Create and manage short- and long-term maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with production, procurement and external contractors.
• Monitor work orders and adjust planning when needed.
• Allocate work to technicians and contractors; act as first contact for questions.
• Ensure compliance with safety legislation and procedures.
• Prepare and review Task Risk Analyses and work permits.
• Record maintenance activities and materials in CMMS.
• Prepare KPI reports such as MTTR and MTBF.
• Support continuous improvement, RCA, TPM and Lean Maintenance.
