We are searching a Maintenance Manager for an important customer. This position will be based in Netherlands.
Overview
Maintenance Manager responsible for leading and continuously improving maintenance activities, planning, spare parts management, purchasing coordination, safety, quality, and the achievement of production objectives within defined costs and standards.
Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor maintenance performance, seeking opportunities for improvement and optimization while ensuring costs are not exceeded.
- Audit and continuously improve Maintenance Planning, supporting the Team of Coordinators and Managers.
- Audit and continuously improve the organization and control of spare parts warehouses, supporting the corresponding Technician.
- Audit and continuously improve the management of purchases and orders of spare parts and materials, supporting the Purchasing Administrator.
- Negotiate and/or coordinate orders with external suppliers when required by technical reasons or incidents, in support of the Purchasing Administrator.
- Participate in optimizing the Preventive Maintenance Plan in collaboration with the RCM-Preventive Manager and the Maintenance Coordinator.
- Analyze and implement proposals for standardization and reduction of spare parts in the Plant and in General Services, with Planning Manager, RCM Manager and Maintenance Coordinators.
- Stay informed on the evolution of TPM in the plant and audit and improve accordingly, through the RCM Manager and Production Manager.
- Supervise the achievement of the planned production, meeting yields, losses and planned stoppages, and ensure compliance with Safety and Quality standards.
- Monitor the status of Department KPIs and drive improvements through new processes or workshops with the team, promoting continuous improvement using available tools.
- Comply with and enforce quality regulations and good practices, including legal and certifying standards.
- Be responsible for Industrial Safety and ensure compliance with machinery legal standards within the Preventive Maintenance Plan.
- Coordinate contracts with companies that manage General Services.
- Organize personnel resources under their charge, adapting to established plans and calendars.
- Carry out recruitment and hiring processes of new resources as needed, in collaboration with the HR Department.
Qualifications
- Technical or Higher Engineering degree.
- Knowledge of Budget Management, analytical accounting and cost control.
- Technical knowledge of machinery and understanding of its operation without necessarily being an expert.
- Experience: Minimum 8-10 years in a similar position, preferably in the food industry. Organization management.
- High level of Spanish and English.
