Job summary

Oatly in Vlissingen is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our team. You will drive maintenance reliability by developing plans, inspections, and equipment strategies, while leading analyses and budgets.

You’ll own our CMMS/D365 environment, use data to improve decisions, and may take IV-Responsible for electrical safety. The role offers a market salary and generous benefits including a pension, a 13th-month bonus, a bike leasing program, and ample vacation days.

Qualifications

• MBO+ or HBO degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), Maintenance Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in maintenance, reliability, engineering, or technical operations within an industrial environment.
• Comfort with data-driven decision making; CMMS, asset management, and D365 experience is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve maintenance plans, inspections, calibrations, and equipment strategies.
• Lead RCA, MOC, criticality assessments, budgeting, shutdown and turnaround planning, and long-term asset management.
• Own CMMS/D365 environment, using data and metrics to improve decision-making, reliability, and spare parts management.
• Provide technical leadership in electrical safety and compliance (IV-Responsible) and participate in site call-out duties.
