Job summary

Star in the Netherlands is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to combine technology, reliability and maintenance to improve availability of our installations. You will analyze, advise and initiate improvements, set up inventory management for spare parts, develop maintenance strategies and coordinate preventive maintenance with Technical Services, Engineering and Manufacturing.

Dutch and English communication required.

Qualifications

• A completed technical college education.
• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Reliability Engineer or a similar position.
• Knowledge of maintenance methodologies and asset management within a production environment.
• A clear vision of predictable and value-driven maintenance.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured working method.
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to connect different discipline

Responsibilities

• Analyzing, advising and initiating improvements that contribute to higher availability and reliability of installations.
• Setting up and implementing an inventory management system for spare parts.

• Organizing and optimizing preventive maintenance in collaboration with Technical Services, Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Applying maintenance methods such as RCA, FMECA and Life Cycle Costing.
• Analyzing maintenance and production data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitoring technical performance and preventing repetitive failures.
• Participate in improvement projects and the development of trouble shooting guides.
• Work closely with maintenance technicians, engineers and manufacturing.
