Beds & Bars in Amsterdam is seeking a proactive Maintenance Assistant to keep guest rooms, bars, and back-of-house areas safe and functional. You'll perform repairs, respond quickly to issues, and help with décor and event setups in a lively hospitality setting.
The role requires hands-on problem solving, reliability, and the ability to work independently or with teams. English is essential; additional languages are a plus. Join a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
About Beds & Bars Beds & Bars is a leading operator of tourist accommodation and entertainment venues across Europe, with backpacker hostels, bars, and traditional British pubs in 12 cities across 8 countries. Our experience is built on four cornerstones: safety, security, fun, and value for money. Our motto, "Live Your Life," reflects our commitment to our team, guests, and customers who eat, drink, and party with us.
You’ll be working across guest rooms, bar and kitchen areas, and shared spaces, making sure everything is safe, functional, and comfortable for guests. A practical mindset, problem-solving attitude, and willingness to get stuck in are essential.
No two days are the same. One day you might be repairing a bunk bed, the next helping with deliveries, setting up decorations for an event, cleaning the building exterior, or supporting housekeeping during a busy turnaround. Flexibility, initiative, and a hands-on approach are just as important as practical maintenance skills.
At Beds & Bars, you’ll be part of a diverse, collaborative team that values personal growth. If you’re passionate about hospitality and enjoy working in a vibrant, people-focused environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
We are an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
