SILICON in Wateringen, Netherlands, is seeking an assembly employee to assemble RAW welding equipment and contribute to improving assembly processes. You will inspect for defects and ensure equipment functions 100% on world-wide jobsites.
You will read technical drawings, maintain equipment, and document actions. The role includes a strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and responsibilities in a multicultural environment with extensive onboarding and development opportunities.

With roughly 90 employees, SILICON designs, produces and innovates high quality products and services for the petrochemical, chemical, kiln construction and shipbuilding industrySILICON Rapid Arc Welding B.V is part of SILICON Holding and is specialized in design, development and manufacturing of specialised welding machines. The welding technology is a unique technique, we call Rapid Arc Welding (RAW). A method whereby fasteners are welded to a steel casing in a fraction of a second.
SILICON is looking for an assembly employee who wants to develop himself in the welding services industry. In this department you will assemble the RAW welding equipment which will then be used on the installation jobsites all over the world!.
Besides assembling the equipment, you will also contribute to improving the work and/or assembly processes. You will also check the equipment for any defects and solve these problems. So you as an assembly worker ensure that the equipment functions 100%.
