Job summary

Luba Uitzendbureau in Tilburg is seeking an orbital welding operator in the welding department to join a fast-growing, high-tech production environment. You will read technical drawings, prepare components, perform orbital and TIG welding, and work with welding robots and manual manipulators.

You will test for quality, conduct helium leak tests, set up machines, and carry out first-line maintenance, while documenting work orders in the system and sharing knowledge with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Dutch and/or English language proficiency.
• MBO level 2 technical education or proven metalworking experience.
• Experience with orbital welding is a plus.

Job description

As a technical production employee in the welding department, you will have varied work with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow within the welding department.

Over de vacature:

As an orbital welding operator, you will work with various advanced welding processes and contribute to the production of high-quality stainless steel assemblies. Based on technical drawings and production planning, you will independently carry out work orders while ensuring precision and quality throughout the entire process.

In this role, you will prepare and process components, perform orbital and TIG welding activities, and work with technologies such as laser welding and laser marking. You will manufacture and assemble stainless steel hoses, couplings, bends, and other complex components using orbital welding heads, welding robots, and manual manipulators.

You will also be responsible for performing helium leak tests and final quality inspections to ensure all products meet the highest industry standards. In addition, you will set up and adjust machines when required and carry out first-line maintenance to support a smooth and efficient production process.

Besides the hands-on technical work, you will complete work orders digitally within the system and contribute to the development and improvement of new products and production methods. Sharing technical knowledge with colleagues and supporting team members where needed is also an important part of the role.

• After an initial period through the employment agency, there is the possibility of a direct contract with the client
• Gross monthly salary between € 2.800 and € 3.475 depending on experience and education
• Shift allowance of 13,3% when working in a two-shift schedule
