Job summary

IKEA Delft is seeking an experienced Team Leader Logistics to lead and develop a team, ensuring smooth and cost-efficient flow of goods across the store. You will monitor performance, optimize processes and drive improvements while promoting IKEA values.

The role requires strong leadership, a solid logistics background and fluency in English. The position offers a 36 or 38 hour workweek, with early morning to late evening shifts and a 13th month’s pay, and a dynamic international environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in a logistics management role.
• Experience leading at least 20 co-workers.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and performance indicators.
• Experience with automation; omnichannel operations is a plus.
• Able to translate data into actionable plans and measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of co-workers with a focus on engagement and growth.
• Coordinate and optimise warehouse operations to ensure high availability at the lowest cost.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets and results, translating data into concrete improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, inventory accuracy and automation usage.
• Develop and implement action plans aligned with store objectives and omnichannel needs.
• Collaborate with other departments to support a seamless customer experience.
• Ensure safe practices and compliance with IKEA procedures and applicable laws.
