Job summary

IKEA Delft Market is seeking a People & Culture Manager for a full-time role in Delft. You will act as a strategic partner, guiding an inclusive, development-focused work environment that aligns people initiatives with business goals.

You will lead the P&C agenda, develop leadership capacity, and nurture the unique IKEA culture while enabling co-workers and leaders to perform at their best in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the People & Culture agenda for IKEA Delft, ensuring alignment with business priorities and successful execution.
• Develop our business through people and creating the environment where everyone is empowered to develop and grow our business.
• Ensure the right people and competences are in place today and for the future through workforce planning, recruitment, competence development, succession planning and staff cost management.
• Partner with the IKEA Delft Management Team on talent development, succession planning, and organizational development.
• Lead, coach and develop the People & Culture team, ensuring strong functional expertise, continuous development and high-quality delivery.
• Create and maintain constructive relationships with co-workers, Works Council, unions and relevant external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with labour legislation, labour relations principles and IKEA policies while safeguarding the interests of IKEA Delft.
• Foster a healthy, safe, and inclusive work environment where well-being, engagement, and sustainable employability are central.
• Monitoring key people metrics and driving continuous improvement in people and business performance.
• Support leaders through change, growth, and the development of high-performing teams
