Job summary

Trinseo is seeking a Logistics Team Leader for a one-year fixed term. The role leads a team of Logistics Service Representatives to ensure safe, compliant handling and transport of materials, while managing logistics providers.

Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is required. Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or International Trade with 4–6 years of relevant experience is expected; knowledge of SAP and MS Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assure logistics activities are performed safely and in an environmentally conscious way and in compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and Trinseo policies.
• Oversee the day-to-day logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, ensure timely planning, loading, pickup and delivery of goods.
• Keep internal parties informed of delays and act as point of contact for escalation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics strategies with overall business objectives
• Drive implementation of initiatives to improve efficiency (service, costs of Sustainability)
• Ensure transportation and assessorial invoices are audited and processed in timely matters
• Monitor KPIs and identify areas for process improvement and cost optimization
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, carriers, and third-party logistics partners
• Ensure QN are investigated in timely matter and effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions
• Analyze data and market trends to anticipate future logistics needs and challenges.
• Lead, coach and develop team, ensuring growth and advocate PAACE culture
