Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Leiden is seeking a Logistics Process Owner to optimize material supply processes at the Biotherapeutics site. You will analyze workflows, develop SOPs, collaborate with cross-functional teams across the Janssen network, and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement in the warehouse and distribution center.

This role requires 3+ years in process improvement within logistics or pharma, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with logistics software

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in process improvement or supply chain optimization in logistics or pharmaceutical industries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex logistics processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Meticulous attention to detail to identify process gaps and ensure accurate documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and drive process change.
• Proficient in logistics software, data analysis tools, and MS Office; knowledge of WMS/TMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process Analysis: analyze existing logistics processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and risks.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for distribution processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DC, warehouse, planning) to identify improvements and drive alignment.
• Evaluate technology solutions (TMS, WMS, automation) to enhance logistics processes.
• Define, track, and monitor KPIs; report performance to management.
• Continuously evaluate processes using data-driven insights and industry benchmarks.
