Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking a Logistics Engineering Specialist to optimize warehouse operations, processes and productivity in an international logistics setting. You will analyse processes, support staffing analysis, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

The role requires a degree in Industrial/Logistics Engineering, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel; Power BI and SAP experience are advantageous. English fluency is essential, Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience in warehouse logistics, contract logistics, 3PL or distribution environments.
• Experience with process optimisation / continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of Excel; experience with Power BI is an advantage.
• Experience with WMS / SAP is a plus.
• Knowledge of warehouse layouts / AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Comfortable working with both data and operational teams.
• Strong communication skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
• Fluent English; Dutch is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Analyse warehouse processes, workflows and operational performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality and efficiency.
• Conduct work measurements and support staffing/workload analysis.
• Develop and implement process improvements and re-engineering initiatives.
• Analyse operational data and create reports to support decision-making.
• Work on warehouse layouts and process flows.
• Support warehouse implementations, reconfigurations and customer projects.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering and other stakeholders.
• Work with warehouse automation and technology solutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations.
