Qualifications

• Bachelor in Logistics of vergelijkbare opleiding vereist.
• Minimaal 2 jaar ervaring in internationale logistiek of exportoperaties.
• Ervaring met ERP-systemen is vereist.
• Vloeiend Engels; extra talen zijn een pluspunt.

Responsibilities

• Plan en coördineer internationale zeevracht-exportzendingen (FCL/LCL), van boeking tot levering.
• Bouw en onderhoud sterke relaties met freight forwarders, rederijen, transporteurs en opslagplaatsen.
• Coördineer dagelijks met logistieke partners en interne stakeholders voor tijdige verzendingen.

Over onze klant

This organisation operates in the wholesale trade sector. They are immediately looking for a Logistics Coordinator interim for 32 to 40 hours per week, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Functie

• Plan and coordinate international sea freight export shipments (FCL/LCL) to destinations outside the EU, from booking through to final delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines, hauliers, warehouses, and relevant authorities.
• Coordinate daily with logistics partners and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient shipment execution.
• Prepare, review, and manage all required export documentation in compliance with international trade regulations.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively communicate updates, delays, and solutions to customers and internal teams.
• Support freight rate negotiations by requesting, comparing, and evaluating transport quotations.
• Identify recurring operational challenges and contribute to continuous process improvements.
• Collaborate closely with the Commercial and Operations teams to align shipment planning and customer requirements.
• Develop expertise in transport cost management, supplier performance, and logistics optimisation.
• Ensure a high level of service by maintaining accurate administration and delivering a smooth export process from start to finish.

Profiel

• Have a bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Bring 2+ years of experience in international logistics or export operations
• Have experience working with ERP systems
• Are fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
