Job summary

A leading aerospace technology company is looking for an experienced Linux Systems & Applications Engineer to support systems at the European Space Agency in Noordwijk, Netherlands. The role involves managing a Linux-based environment, troubleshooting incidents, and supporting application migrations. Ideal candidates should have a degree in Computer Science and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a comparable role.
• Experience with ESA/ESTEC or other European research institutions is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the Linux-based environment.
• Perform incident management and troubleshooting.
• Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Support application migrations to new infrastructure.
• Document and share knowledge via wikis or SharePoint.
