Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking a Medior-Senior Linked Data Engineer in Utrecht, Netherlands. The role focuses on semantic technologies, ontologies, and knowledge graphs to support AI-driven use cases.

The position is a 12-month contract with potential permanent employment, onsite 1 day per week and 4 days remote, start ASAP. You will design ontologies, build knowledge graphs, and collaborate with data experts to enable a scalable semantic data capability within a major organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Linked Data Engineer, Semantic Data Engineer, Knowledge Graph Engineer, or similar.
• Strong experience designing, building, and managing ontologies and graph data models.
• Experience linking data from multiple heterogeneous sources and understanding metadata management and governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise ontologies and linked data models.
• Analyse data sources to identify semantic relationships and connections.
• Build semantic layers to improve access to trusted business information.
• Develop and maintain graph-based data structures and knowledge graphs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Support AI/data-driven use cases through semantic technologies.
• Evaluate open-source tools and technologies for linked data initiatives.
• Establish best practices with Knowledge Engineer and data teams.
