ESA's internship opportunity in Noordwijk, Netherlands, within the LEO-PNT Signal Engineering & RF Compatibility team of Celeste, part of FutureNAV. You will work under engineers to analyse RF compatibility, characterise signals, and develop MATLAB/Python tools.

You will gain hands-on experience in satellite navigation signal design, RF interference assessment, and numerical modelling, while contributing to future LEO-PNT system studies.

Formación

• You should be a university student, preferably in your final or second-to-last year of a Master's programme.
• You must be enrolled at your university for the entire duration of the internship.
• Good knowledge of English or French is required; knowledge of another ESA language is an asset.
• Experience with MATLAB and/or Python for signal processing and simulations is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to the RF compatibility analysis of potential LEO-PNT signals.
• Characterise navigation signals in the frequency domain under guidance from experienced engineers.
• Develop and use MATLAB and/or Python tools to generate signals, compute spectral metrics and investigate compatibility scenarios.
