Job summary

ML6 - Accelerate Intelligence seeks a Legal Counsel to join the Finance and Compliance team and own contracts across entities in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany.

You’ll draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial agreements, maintain templates and the contract repository, and support corporate governance and IP/licensing work. Fluency in English and Dutch is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in law.
• 2–5 years of experience in a law firm or in-house, preferably familiar with the tech space.
• Comfortable with EU law and an international mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Dutch (hard req!).
• Pragmatic: you look for the path to yes, not the list of risks.
• Structured and autonomous, but you like to work closely with ML6 colleagues.
• Curious about technology: you don't need to code, but you are excited about AI and how it can make your field more efficient.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts end to end, including NDAs, SOWs, MSAs, partner and supplier agreements.
• Maintain playbooks, templates and fallback clauses to speed up sales cycles.
• Own the contract repository: tagging, renewal alerts, reporting.
• Support corporate legal work: entity housekeeping, board resolutions, group governance.
• Support IP and licensing: trademarks, open source, model and data licensing.
• Provide legal trainings to Business Development and Delivery teams.
• Use AI tools to accelerate the business in an AI-native way.

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts end to end, with support on the complex ones: NDAs, SOWs, MSAs, partner and supplier agreements

• Keep our playbook, templates and fallback clauses sharp, so sales cycles get faster

• Own the contract repository: tagging, renewal alerts, reporting

• Support corporate legal work: entity housekeeping, board resolutions, group governance

• Support our IP and licensing practice: trademarks, open source, model and data licensing

• Give legal trainings to our Business Development and Delivery teams

• Accelerate our business by working in an AI native manner, with all AI tools at your disposal in an environment that pushes you to explore and use these tools to the fullest
