Job summary

FareHarbor in Amsterdam is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to design and deliver end-to-end learning experiences in a fast-growing SaaS environment. You’ll partner with HRBPs and SMEs to translate business needs into measurable outcomes.

You’ll run in-person, hybrid, and virtual sessions, build learning paths, measure impact, and iterate programs. The role blends instructional design with facilitation, and you’ll contribute to a culture that values learning, inclusion, and career

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, HR, Psychology, or related field.
• 3-5 years in learning and development, instructional design, or a similar role in a dynamic environment (tech/SaaS preferred).
• Proven track record designing, delivering, and scaling high-impact learning programs across stakeholder groups.
• Proficiency in LMS administration and digital content tools (Seismic, Docebo, Articulate, Rise, Canva).
• Understanding of adult learning principles and ADDIE framework.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to tell stories with data.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, curate, iterate, and maintain learning solutions and programs across modalities (instructor-led, virtual, on-demand).
• Facilitate in-person, hybrid, and virtual sessions including onboarding and ongoing programs.
• Collaborate with SMEs, HRBPs, and stakeholders to assess needs and validate content.
• Measure learning effectiveness and implement iterations based on data.
• Build learning paths tailored to roles and competencies using impact metrics.
• Implement innovative learning methods and stay current with new techniques.
• Act as a FareHarbor cultural ambassador fostering an inclusive environment.
