Job summary

ModusLink is seeking a hands-on Lean Engineer to advance continuous improvement at our Venray and Amsterdam sites. You will embed Lean into our DNA and lead culture change across logistics and operations.

You will coach cross-functional teams, analyze processes with Excel and Power BI, and shape end-to-end improvements. This role requires willingness to work across locations and drive tangible performance gains.

Qualifications

• HBO degree in Engineering or similar field.
• Hands-on experience in logistics/operations.
• Ability to drive Lean culture beyond mere tools.
• Strong analytical skills using Excel/Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Drive Lean culture across Venray and Amsterdam.
• Lead Kaizen events and hands-on improvement initiatives.
• Coach teams, supervisors and managers in Lean thinking.
• Analyze processes and implement end-to-end improvements.

WE ARE HIRING: LEAN ENGINEER (MULTI-SITE)

For our operations at ModusLink (Venray & Amsterdam) we are looking for a hands-on Lean Engineer who will take our continuous improvement culture to the next level.

Over the past years, we have built a strong Lean foundation. Now it’s time to embed Lean into our DNA and that’s where you come in.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Drive Lean culture across both sites (Venray & Amsterdam)
• Lead Kaizen events and hands-on improvement initiatives
• Coach teams, supervisors and managers in Lean thinking & behavior
• Analyze processes and implement end-to-end improvements
• Optimize layouts, flows, costs and operational performance
• Build and track KPI structures for continuous improvement
• Ensure sustainability through standard work and follow-up
• Collaborate with our global Lean community

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
