Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Lead Document Expeditor in Rotterdam to oversee vendor documentation expediting across multiple EPC projects. You will manage expediting personnel and act as the escalation point for vendor documentation queries.

Responsibilities include reviewing schedules, coordinating with vendors, expediting internal reviews, and ensuring timely closure of documentation during project close-out.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of document control/expediting experience.
• HBO education or equivalent.
• Experience on EPC projects.
• Experience managing personnel or small teams.
• Experience in document control is a plus.
• Experience working in multicultural environments.

Responsibilities

• Participate in package gate meetings when applicable (KOM, Design, Procurement, Pre-fabrication, Testing and Release for shipment)
• Review document schedules
• Assist the Project Expeditor in ensuring timely submittal of vendor documentation
• Assist in coordinating with the Vendors on resolving issues that might prevent timely submittal of documentation
• Expediting internal review of documentation
• Assist and coordinate efficient resolution to commented documents
• Interface with external or internal vendor document control teams to monitor timely upload of received documentation
• Act as escalation point for project management vendor documentation queries
• Manage document expeditors assigned to SBM projects
• Carry out and report on documentation requests/exercises as requested by the Project Procurement Manager or Expediting Supervisor
• During project close out, participate and liaise with document control teams to ensure swift closure of vendor documentation scopes
