Job summary

PhotonFirst International is seeking a senior System Engineer/Architect to lead the entire technical side of complex engineering projects, including design and realization of photonic sensing systems for customer applications.

You will coordinate cross-disciplinary teams and ensure system-level definitions with traceability and risk management, while collaborating with partners and customers to advance ourTechnology Roadmap. A university degree and 5+ years of relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer, Architect or Lead Development Engineer.
• Excellent communicator and connector with a track record of multi-disciplinary product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the entire technical side of complex engineering projects.
• Design and realize photonic sensing systems for customer applications.
• Coordinate and align optical, mechanical, electronic and software design trades-offs.
• Ensure system definition with requirements traceability and technical risk management.
• Collaborate with partners and customers to drive the Technology Roadmap.
