Job summary

Amaris Consulting, part of Mantu, seeks a systems engineering lead to drive multidisciplinary development from concept to implementation. You will translate needs into structured system requirements, maintain traceability across the V-model, and guide decisions on dependencies and risks.

Engage with internal and external partners, participate in MBSE and SAFe practices, and travel within the Netherlands plus occasional international travel as needed.

Qualifications

• MSc degree in Systems Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years in a lead engineering role across multiple domains.
• Experience in medical, consumer, optical or complex technology products.
• Familiar with regulatory design controls and quality requirements (FDA, ISO 13485, EU MDR).

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering across multi-disciplinary projects (mechanical, electrical, software, physics).
• Translate product needs into system requirements and verification plans.
• Maintain end-to-end traceability through the V-model.
• Support technical decisions by assessing dependencies, risks, and constraints.
• Coordinate specialist teams to deliver system-level objectives.
• Apply development processes in a regulated product environment.
• Contribute to improving systems engineering practices, incl. MBSE and SAFe.
• Collaborate with internal partners and external suppliers with Netherlands travel and some international travel.
